Who we are

We are psychiatrists, psychologists, family doctors, nurses, researchers, midwives, doulas and other professionals working in Québec.

The Québec Alliance for Perinatal Mental Health (QAPMH) is a network that was established in November 2014 by several hospital-based psychiatrists working primarily with perinatal patients.

Through collaboration, research and advocacy we strive to improve mental health services for pregnant and postpartum people and their families.

  • Offer trainings for professionals working with perinatal people and their families

  • Gather perinatal mental health data

  • Encourage research on perinatal mental health
